We have extensive experience in various operations, including open-cut mining, quarrying, and civil projects such as road construction, railways, tunneling, dams, pipelines, and urban development. Meet Our Team:
Peter Beardsell- Founder
With over 35 years in the industry, Peter began his career as an underground driller in the NT, working across NT, WA, and Victoria. Alongside his wife, Sue, he started P and S Beardsell Blasthole Drilling over 25 years ago in Victoria. In 2003, they relocated their business and family to Northern Queensland for a better lifestyle for them and their three boys. Today their eldest son Daniel works in the family business alongside Peter, Daniel is in the Southeast QLD- servicing all drilling and ground support clients in this area.
Sue Beardsell- Office Manager
Sue has worked alongside Peter from the beginning, playing a vital role in the family business’s growth. She attends job sites to ensure all paperwork is in order and manages client communications. As an expert in establishing solid work foundations and fostering effective communication, Sue ensures that the Beards Team builds strong relationships with clients to achieve the best possible results.
Daniel Beardsell- Driller Manager
Daniel has been drilling since he was 18 years old, Peter has trained Daniel to have solid foundation in all aspects of drilling, they both share the same personal values- by doing a good job the first time and fostering strong relationships with their clients- they are committed to quality work in every project whether it be a small back yard job to drilling and blasting in windfarms, every project is handled with care and professionalism.
