For this project in Shute Harbour, Beards Drilling was tasked with augering a 1,200-meter diameter hole, extending 7 meters deep, through extremely hard granite. This type of work requires specialised equipment and exceptional skill, and our team delivered outstanding results, meeting and exceeding the project requirements.

Drilling Specifications:

The project involved using our high-capacity augers to drill a 1,200mm diameter hole, 7 meters deep, into granite. We first peppered/drilled the area and then followed up with the auger. Ergon Energy was very pleased with the results.
